Howdy, Howdy friends and neighbors! I had quite the evening and I must say that the blues of Monday did not follow me into Tuesday. Hopefully you all (ya'll, thats for you Myclette) can say the same. Since performing a variation of yesterday's ritual I feel quite refreshed. I have to give an offering to the Goddess for her blessing of good vibes. If you want to offer something to the Goddess you might consider going on a nature walk. Dont choose a destination, just leave the house and start walking. As you go along notice the environment. By environment I dont mean noticing how much gas costs at the station across the street or the goodies on the woman or the package on the man across the street. Notice the trees or lack thereof, the state of the grass and greenery around your home or apartment. Take a deep breath and notice the texture of the air. I say texture because in Houston you can damn near see the air (Shame, Shame)... Are you satisfied with the state of your surroundings? Is there anything you would change if you could?
Maybe you will be motivated to take action on the part of the environment.
The Goddess will appreciate your interest in her/our home and may indeed offer you a blessing in return. You may take regular walks to appreciate Nature and honor her by pouring a cup of milk on the root of a tree. When you arrive home, bathe, do not dry yourself, light incense of your choosing, lay on your back in silence and reflect on your day and what you have learned from communing with the elements of the Goddess, Nature. Dress or not and head to bed or to your favorite book, no TV if you can help it.
Goddess Bless.
