Howdy Howdy all!
I havent been blogging a lot lately because as you know I had to pull an alnighter to finish 2 papers and THEN I pulled another to finish another 2 papers!!! Blech. Well I am also nursing a bad back (I through my back out carrying a bunch of books on my back for all of the papers I had to write). I dont take medication and so the heating pad and the cold pack have been on double duty the last few days. Not to mention soaking in the tub with my good friend Epsom Salts! I should be back to my good ole or bad ole self, depending on your view
.....
I have a lot of blog reading to catch up on and I promise to get to that ASAP ya'll. But first I gotta go hit the books for final exam prep.....
Oh and thanks for missing me...those of you who missed me anyway---
How about some poetry...here goes.....I am gonna post my favorite Neruda Poem! I know I have posted it more than once but it is so beautiful I just can help it.....
I crave your mouth...
I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair.
Silent and starving, I prowl through the streets.
Bread does not nourish me, dawn disrupts me, all day
I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.
I hunger for your sleek laugh,
your hands the color of a savage harvest,
hunger for the pale stones of your fingernails,
I want to eat your skin like a whole almond.
I want to eat the sunbeam flaring in your lovely body,
the sovereign nose of your arrogant face,
I want to eat the fleeting shade of your lashes,
and I pace around hungry, sniffing the twilight,
hunting for you, for your hot heart,
Like a puma in the barrens of Quitratue.--Pablo Neruda
