Really? A Pissing Contest? Now? I wonder if some of these jobs that are being eliminated monthly reached Washington-- we might get on with the business of actually helping the country. Okay, so some of the things in the package just don't do it for you.
Okay, in politics compromise is necessary.
What is hilarious is that so many of those opposed to the Stimulus Package have compromised themselves repeatedly for far more of their so-called values.
Don't try to tell us that suddenly everyone has principles when for at least 8 years there were torture camps all around the world, people were  frequenting whores, people were getting rich off of ponzi schemes and dodging taxes.
oh But now, NOW someone might get some help from planned parenthood and ultimately gain the kind of knowledge necessary to have a more informed existence and guess what? Money for planned parenthood does actually create jobs. 
Yeah, it's not just a room marked "planned parenthood" where there are strobe lights, buckets of flavored condoms and fire fueled with bibles in the center in the middle of the room. Yeah, turns out Planned Parenthood is a facility for planning for parenthood which includes planning for families with parents of children.
All this while the GOP tries to oppose the cap on executive bonuses for bail-out banks.
The truth is that the people who are going around in circles while we circle the drain have no interest in us (the people they are supposed to serve) at all. This is about getting your way.
we lost 600,000 people lost their jobs in January alone. 3.6 million jobs lost since December 2007.
Real people are out of work. People who WANT to earn a living, can't.
