Well this is it. I have applied for GRADUATION!!!!!!! My last semster is Spring 2006 and Graduation is in May of 2006. I completed all of the paper work and paid all of the fees except for the Diploma fee..It's $50.00 and you would think that one might get it for free after spending a boat load of cash on the actual 4 years of school (actually it was only 2 years because I already had a degree when I decided to get this one). I am also working on a degree in Natural Health and Herbology but that one is so much fun that I HAD to sign up for it. I really like school, can you tell?
Anyway I will have a BA in English to go along with my BBA in Management degree that I never use. Well that isn't entirely true. I have a home based business with some friends that we started early this year. I make soap, shampoo, bath salts and some other spiritual use items. Another friend makes paper (100 percent recycled products are used in the production) and gorgeous stationary sets(she is an accomplished calligrapher), another makes boxes (she is an excellent artist ) that she carves (with this heated metal pen/stylus) with any symbol or phrase that one might want (nothing that is hateful). The boxes can be antiqued, with heat or laqured. The boxes are great for placing important family pieces or tarot cards or bibles and some come with locks if so requested.
The problem is this: I generally TRADE/BARTER with people who seek my services and therefore we make little money from my end which in actuality would probably fetch the most monetarily. So much for that Business Degree. And yeah, my partners are THRILLED.......lol. I get a lot of great stuff in exchange and have made some great friends and since we wont clear a hundred bucks this year our business tax return will be a BREEZE! See I'm useful.
Tonight is Myclette 's birthday dinner and I have a ton to do so........
