Starting Fresh and Shaking off the past Year
Howdy Howdy all!
Well it is yours truly, The Voodoo Child, La Paganista finally getting back around to blogging here. I had a few set backs and a few set ups in the past year and I have to say that out of it all I am still here and still shining like tumbled obsidian.
I have big plans. Very big plans. I mean I have had notions, ideas, concepts and such but never something that one would label a plan. Well this time, I had the nerve, the raw audacity, the unmitigated Gall to actually plan my 2008. I got this pedometer for Christmas from a sprite hot shot at work (she is 60 but I THOUGHT she was like 45!). She said 10,000 steps a day and I wont take any ifs ands or buts! Well she is looking fabulous for her age and her mind is a steel trap so I figure hey what harm can it do.
I had started within the last 2 months drinking at least 5 glasses per day of veggie and fruit juice (all natural and organic) and what do ya know my skin cleared up and I was running much smoother than usual. Okay. So those are not plans in an of themselves but coupled together they make up a concept that feeds into what has ultimately become a plan.

- 10000 steps per day.
- only organic or naturally produced foods (I still get junk food treats just the all natural kind)
- no carbonated drinks (pretty easy since I only get them when I see other people with them. Maybe it is some sort of peer pressure).
- meditate for at least 10 minutes upon waking and for 10 minutes before sleeping
- write daily for no less than 45 minutes. (I notice that I dont hit a stride until after about 30 minutes or so.)
- have adventures more often (I used to have an adventure about 4 times per week and then I found fear somewhere and I havent set it down since.) Well I am back to traveling and trekking for fun so there is my adventure.
- Date outside the box. (okay so I have a type. I think this is the problem, I keep meeting and keeping a type that aint necessarily good for me ya dig.)
- stretch! Man I almost passed out after walking for 9 hours at work without giving the old muscles a yawn.
- Get gangsta with my hippie lifestyle once again. Remember when I was truly hippie? Well you dont but I do and It was the shiznit!
- bring back the poetry to this blog (you know you loved it!)
