I guess I should not be suprised that Proposition 2 (limiting marriage to one man and one woman) passed with a preliminary and whopping 75% for.  Whatever will we do if people we don't know get the opportunity to marry, or have a recognised civil unions?!  Heaven forfend if fellow citizens have the chance to enjoy all of the rights afforded to any citizen of this country.  The world shall crumble if we look at real issues and stay out of people's bedrooms!

Ok, Ok, I'm done.  That is my rant.....Oh yeah we shall keep Mayor Bill White (He has done a lot for the city so I am pleased, let's hope he continues to expand the mass transit system in the city.  This would be lovely for the air quality and traffic congestion, but I don't have a car so it would also really help me out when navigating from museum to museum (one of my favorite pasttimes).  That's all for now folks....off to shower after my run!
